Parent evening

Not getting my hopes up but I think we could class today as a success !!!

Had a cluster of children away which meant that there was one computer per child (and a few left over - which ended up getting used when issues arose with the computers they started on).  A few teething issues happened (of course!!!) but every child logged on to google, accessed the google drive, found their folder and the writing document and wrote a sentence - alot even shared their work back to me.

They loved listening to hear my phone make a bird chip as I received an email to say that a document was shared with me ...

I also had two reading groups working on a google doc completing a project on either wetas or penguins ...

Monday morning writing

Computers ready,  Google docs all set to go ... I need my coffee this morning !!!  but cant wait to see how the whole class go at writing in a google doc...♥ it will either be a nightmare or shear brilliance... i'm hoping its the second.

Week 4 - another one bites the dust.

Well another week has come and gone ... man how time fly's when you are having fun.  The children are getting the hang of Study ladder.  This is an educational website where I as their teacher can set tasks that relate back to what we are doing in class.  As they show that they are getting the hang of logging in and focus on completing the tasks set they will start bringing home their passwords so you can see what they are doing for yourself.  I have included a link to this website on the side-panel of this blog to make this process easier.

I have to say another WOWWWWWWWW!!!! for the spelling this week be had 23 children at school on Friday when we were testing and 22 of them got 100%  The other child got 1 wrong ... We must all be doing something right I think ... Lets keep it up.

The children have also been working hard to complete their half photo/self portrait art and I must say I am soooooo proud of all their efforts they look fantastic.  Can't wait to take some photos to share with you here. They are also working on some BFG pictures to go with some descriptions they have writing this week.  So feel free to pop in and have a look.
